Protein-Localized Bright-Red Fluorescent Gold Nanoclusters as Cyanide-Selective Colorimetric and Fluorometric Nanoprobes.
Here, we describe the ovalbumin-protected gold nanoclusters-red light-emitting (OVA-AuNCs) prepared and applied as luminescent probes for simple, rapid, and highly sensitive determination of cyanide ion (CN- ion) based on the cooling emissions and colorimetric methods. Originally, an intense emit red fluorescence OVA-AuNCs managed to disappear on the addition of CN- ions. Process emissions generated cooling involved CN- ion etching the surface of OVA-AuNC, which produce complex AuCN2- in the presence of ambient oxygen. In the optimized experimental conditions, the relative emission intensity is inversely relative to the CN- ion concentrations ranging from 5.00 × 75.00 × 10-7 to 10-7 mol / L with a linear correlation coefficient of 0.9932.
Furthermore, OVA-AuNC optical detection system based on both colorimetric and fluorometric test is tested, which expose resolve highly sensitive and specific ion CN-, and it is easily visualized with the naked eye (day light and UV rays). Because Elsner different reactions between atoms of Au from OVA-AuNCs and ion CN-, nanoprobe recently offered ultrasensitivity and good selectivity with the lowest limit of detection value of 68.00 × 10-9 mol / L. In addition, the fluorescence detection method ion CN- “turn-off” is implemented in real water samples. Despite recent advances in in vivo fluorescence imaging has overcome many of the limitations encountered in the intestinal bacterial bioluminescent imaging, such as requirements for living cells, high signal attenuation and 2D imaging, this method is limited to the bacteria that available.
Here molecular cloning tool, we present use of lipophilic fluorescent dye together with Katushka far-red fluorescent protein to build dual-color imaging in vivo system for monitoring the GI transit of different bacterial strains, suitable also for strains resistant to genetic labeling. With this system, we were able to distinguish two different E. coli strains simultaneously and show their unique patterns of transportation. Combined with fluorescence molecular tomography, different strains can be spatially and temporally resolved and quantified in 3D.
